Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a Customer Success Manager to cultivate and maintain strong relationships post-sale, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty. You will advocate for the customer and work with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

This remote role is based in Texas or Southern California and involves onboarding, training, data analysis, and coordinating with dealers and OEMs to support a smooth transition to EV school buses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Project Management, Partnership Management, or Account Management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (business, technology, engineering).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems, workflows, tools and processes for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by engaging with transportation directors, maintenance staff, drivers and operations staff to understand needs and tailor solutions.
• Guide customers through onboarding, provide training and coordinate with dealers and OEMs for a smooth EV transition.
• Proactively monitor relationships, identify issues, and develop strategies to address them.
• Collaborate with customers to tailor service offerings to meet operational needs.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Liaise between customers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure satisfaction.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to Technology and Development teams to drive improvement.
• Partner with dealers, OEMs and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and fast issue resolution.
