Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to resolve inquiries with timely, courteous service and thorough documentation. The role involves system research, escalation to experts, and striving for first-time resolution where possible.

The CSR will work remotely from home within Arkansas and select western states, handling member, provider, and group inquiries about health insurance plans, benefits, and eligibility, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years' experience in a specialized customer service environment.
• OR two years' college coursework (48 credits) plus one year experience in a specialized customer service environment.

Responsabilités

• Communication: Resolves customer inquiries with timely and courteous service, documenting details in the contact notes.
• Customer Service: Interfaces with members, groups and providers to resolve issues related to health insurance plans.
• Problem Solving/Complaint Resolution: Maintains professionalism, empathy, and fact-based conclusions to reach resolution.
• Product Knowledge: Becomes an expert on benefits and eligibility for health insurance plans.
