Job summary

Summit Racing Equipment is seeking a full-time remote Team Member to assist customers with orders, tracking, returns, and warranty questions. The role is remote, with an ET schedule and overtime during peak periods. Requires basic automotive knowledge, reliable internet, and strong communication skills.

Residency must be in FL, GA, OH, TN or TX. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with potential for higher compensation based on knowledge, education, and experience.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.

Do you enjoy helping people and solving problems? In this remote role, you'll be the person customers count on when they need help with an order. Whether it's tracking a package, returning an item, answering warranty questions, or finding the right automotive part, you'll help customers find the answers and solutions they need. Every call brings something different, giving you the opportunity to make someone's day a little easier while delivering a great customer experience!

Candidate must reside in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee or Texas!

Pay : The starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with the possibility of being

offered more based on your automotive knowledge, education, and experience. The final rate will be determined from the interview process.

Position: Full-Time | Remote

Regular Work Schedule*

• Monday-Friday: 3:30 PM - Midnight ET
• Rotating Day Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
• Every Other Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM ET

Training Schedule: First 7 Weeks

• Monday-Friday: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM ET
• Hands-on training to prepare you for success.

*Overtime: Required during peak call volume periods.

Job Function:

• Using company-provided equipment and our Talkdesk application, you'll handle inbound customer calls and provide friendly, professional service while addressing post-sale related questions and concerns.
• Other duties to be assigned as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

• High speed cable Internet 25mb plan minimum (No DSL)
• Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and internet navigation
• Ability to listen, understand customer needs, and resolve issues using available tools and resources
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn some technical details about vehicle systems.
• Ability to multitask, coordinate, and manage time effectively while maintaining professionalism with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to follow direction, meet department standards, and improve individual and team performance

Work Experience/Education :

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Automotive knowledge or at least 2 years of automotive industry experience preferred
