Position Details

• Position:Senior Customer Service Representative
• Location:Remote (Work from Home) - Contiguous U.S. only
• Duration: 6 Months contract
• Pay Rate:$17.00/hour

Role Overview

Representatives will support the Vermont Health Insurance Exchange (VT HIX)by assisting callers with:

• Health insurance enrollments and coverage changes
• Medicaid and Marketplace plans
• Eligibility and financial assistance questions
• Healthcare coverage and benefit inquiries
• Documenting customer interactions while handling inbound customer service calls

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of customer service experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers

Training Requirements

• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM ET
• 100% attendance is required during training and residency
• Cameras must remain on throughout training
• No pre-scheduled appointments during training or residency

Equipment Requirements (BYOD)

Candidates must provide their own:

• Windows or Mac computer (no Chromebooks)
• Webcam
• Wired USB headset with microphone
• Wired Ethernet internet connection
