Job summary

Westlake Plastics is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a remote role serving the Midwest/Western regions. You will handle inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with production, inventory, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in customer service (manufacturing preferred), strong communication, CRM/ERP experience, and proficiency with MS Office. Salary around $50,000 with comprehensive benefits, remote work flexibility, and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing or related industry is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in CRM/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide product information including specifications, pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Process orders using the ERP/order management system and coordinate with production/inventory.
• Communicate order updates, shipping details, and potential delays to customers.
• Address complaints or concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Collaborate with sales, production and shipping to ensure accurate delivery.
• Maintain CRM records and prepare customer service metrics and reports.
