Job summary

Ciena Corporation is seeking a Customer Engagement Manager to drive delivery success across managed services and customer projects. You will interact with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and partners while ensuring value and exceptional experience.

The role requires 8+ years in ICT with project management experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed. Location can be remote within North America, supporting various customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ICT with program/project management for managed services of optical, cloud or virtualization delivery projects.
• Strong negotiation skills to work with customers and resource owners.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communications skills.
• Willingness to travel to support customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive onboarding Managed Service delivery projects from quote to service turn-up and monthly reporting.
• Manage project scope, schedule, costs, and resources across multiple deliverables.
• Act as the escalation point for managed service delivery activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Services, product teams, supply-chain, and sales to align on outcomes.
