Job summary

SKYGEN is seeking a remote Customer Service Representative to support dental and vision members across the United States. You will handle eligibility, benefits, authorizations, claims, and provider search inquiries with empathy and clear communication.

The role requires solid data entry, multi-tasking, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Training and scheduling vary; some evenings/weekends may be required during peak enrollment periods.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Dental and Vision inbound callers with eligibility, benefits, authorizations, claims, and locating providers.
• Explain and apply claim adjustments and resubmission processes to resolve provider requests.
• Provide feedback to Provider Relations on high-level claim issues for prompt resolution.
• Assist with enrollment activities and updating third party insurance information.
• Act as liaison between the organization and Member Services to resolve eligibility, appeals and grievances.
• Provide updates to providers on credentialing application status.
• Educate callers on using provider web portal and available technology.
• Ensure calls are answered per guidelines and policies.
• Document call information and resolutions in internal systems.
• Use diffusion techniques to ensure customers feel heard, valued, and supported.
• Identify issues for escalation to leadership when appropriate.
