Job summary

CustomMade is seeking a Custom Jewelry Project Manager to lead one-on-one, personalized jewelry projects from initial request to a fully designed piece. You will coordinate with designers, gem experts, and production specialists to translate customer visions into manufacturable designs.

You will build lasting client relationships, present sketches and 3D renderings, and manage quotes, timelines, and post-production support. A passion for jewelry and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Excellent written communication with customers and colleagues.
Client-facing experience in sales, hospitality, luxury retail, or account management.
A passion for jewelry and design with an eye for style and detail.
Discerning visual taste.
Resourcefulness and sound decision-making in uncertain situations.
Track record of achieving strong sales results in jewelry or luxury settings.
Experience in fine jewelry sales is preferred.
Technical experience as a jewelry designer, bench jeweler, or artist.
Graduate Gemologist degree or GIA coursework.
Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college/university.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain customer relationships through online messaging and direct interactions.
Coordinate design and gem selections with designers, gem experts, and production teams.
Present concept sketches and 3D renderings to customers and incorporate feedback.
Create quotes and manage project timelines from sketch to manufacturing.
Handle post-production tasks including resizing, repairs, and customer follow-up.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure project success.
