Baraka Gems in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Jewelry Designer to blend artistry with client service. You will design pieces, consult clients, and manage custom design projects from initial concept to completion.

Initially remote, with plans to move into a dedicated design studio in West Concord, MA. The role requires strong design skills, jewelry manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to work 40 hours per week, including holidays and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of fine jewelry sketch and design experience.
• Minimum 2 years of face-to-face fine jewelry retail sales and customer service.
• Strong knowledge of precious metals and stones.
• Solid understanding of the fine jewelry manufacturing process.
• Experience greeting customers, answering phones and replying to emails.
• Proficient with common software; familiarity with Shopify, Lightspeed, and office tools.
• Ability to manage design projects and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to bring their design vision to life, managing 45–55 active clients after training.
• Assist with showroom operations, client interactions, scheduling, and designer training.
• Follow up with clients by calls and emails.
• Sell jewelry in person, process invoices and payments.
• Coordinate orders, receiving, and returns with vendors.
• Ensure studio procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
• Plan and execute special sales and events.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and decor.
