Job summary

Canon USA & Affiliates is seeking a Remote Support Engineer to provide centralized remote support for customers across various imaging modalities. Responsibilities include remote troubleshooting, customer service intake, and collaboration with field service teams.

Required qualifications include a minimum of 3 years field and technical support experience and a 2 Year Associate's Degree in a relevant technical field. The role requires flexibility in shift hours, including evenings and holidays to ensure continuous customer support.

Qualifications

• 3 years of combined field and technical support experience servicing diagnostic imaging modalities: CT, MR, XR, VL, or UL.
• Canon-specific equipment experience required.
• Ability to work in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer service requests.
• Perform remote troubleshooting and triage using remote connectivity tools.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 with structured case documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in the service documentation system.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and cross-functional teams.
