Job summary
Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Remote Support Engineer to provide centralized, high-quality remote support for imaging modalities from a home office in the USA. You will triage, document cases, and escalate to Tier 2 while focusing on uptime and customer experience.
The role requires after-hours availability, rotating shifts, and the ability to travel as needed. Canon-specific equipment experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Field service experience and remote troubleshooting skills.
- Microsoft Office and Windows proficiency.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
- Canon-specific equipment experience required.
- Willingness to be available after hours/on-call.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact (Tier 1) for service requests.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and triage with connectivity tools and logs.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 with complete documentation.
- Maintain updates in Oracle SR and adhere to documentation standards.
- Collaborate with FSEs and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to knowledge base and CSC workflows.
- Follow CSC procedures and escalation protocols.
