Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to resolve customer inquiries with first-time resolution when possible. The role requires documenting conversations and collaborating with experts as needed to provide accurate information.

This remote position supports customers across AR, WA, OR, UT, ID, ND, and MN, with a hiring range of $22.88–$28.85 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in a specialized customer

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in a specialized customer service environment or two (2) years' college coursework (48 credits) plus one (1) year experience in a specialized customer service environment.
• Must pass company proficiency test: Customer Service Assessment

Responsabilidades

• Communicates clearly in business English, with correct grammar; keeps accurate electronic notes in the appropriate software systems.
• Interacts directly with customers to resolve issues related to products, services, and health plans offered by ABCBS and its affiliates; adheres to privacy rules under HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned
• Addresses issues with empathy to reach fact-based conclusions and resolves through negotiation.
• Becomes an expert on benefits and eligibility for health insurance plans.
