Job summary

Montana Instruments Corporation seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by applying technical expertise and deep understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement effective sales strategies.

You will engage in face-to-face and remote sales, assess customer needs, deliver product demonstrations, and develop long-term plans to protect and grow customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years in customer-facing roles with at least 3 years in sales.
• Experience selling technical/scientific products with long sales cycles.
• History of meeting quota and growing sales in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to protect and grow relationships.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies leveraging technical expertise and customer insight.
