Sompo International’s AgriSompo North America team seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products, and Named Peril claims from a remote North Dakota base. You will engage with policyholders, agents, and supervisors, conduct field inspections, and process loss information in alignment with FCIC and company standards.

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims.
• CAPP certification and valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; agriculture degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to accurately determine potential damages per FCIC/NCIS/Company procedures.
• Perform field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor daily communications.
• Follow FCIC, State and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State Regulations.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage to determine indemnities.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
