Sompo International seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims. The role is remote from Texas, ideally in San Antonio, with up to 50% travel to nearby areas.

The candidate will handle field inspections, loss adjustments, and cross-functional collaboration with supervisor and policyholders. Requires CAPP certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims preferred.
• 2 years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster preferred.
• Requires CAPP certification and valid driver’s license with a clean record and state license.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine damages per FCIC, NCIS and company rules.
• Conduct field inspections, read maps/aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding to determine indemnities; train field staff on procedures and compliance.
