Parexel, a leading CRO, seeks a Contract Manager to drive proposals and contracts remotely within the US. You will coordinate bid development, budgeting, negotiations, and client relations across functions to deliver compliant, timely agreements.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years CRO experience, strong communication, and proficiency in pricing, data systems like Salesforce, and working in a matrix, fast-paced environment for patient-focused clinical research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Life Science, Business, Languages, or related field.
• 4–6 years in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals in CRO or regulated setting.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, contract management principles, and pricing structures.
• Cash flow and revenue recognition knowledge.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from home and odd hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full RFP process from receipt to delivery of proposals aligned with client specs and internal standards.
• Develop strategic proposals and budgets in response to RFPs with SME input.
• Lead contract development and negotiate terms across departments to finalize agreements.
• Set and maintain account-specific contract standards, including payment terms and language.
• Identify barriers to RFPs and contracts and implement mitigation strategies.
• Handle multiple complex tasks, prioritizing to meet deadlines while ensuring quality.
• Lead client meetings to negotiate costs, terms, and contract details with minimal support.
• Maintain thorough documentation and data in approved systems for metrics.
