Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team in a remote, home-based capacity in the United States. You will drive strategic business development activities, manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and coordinate budgets across Operations, Legal, Finance, and Business Development to deliver client-ready proposals that meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years in CRO or regulated settings, strong proposal and contract management skills, and the ability to work independently from home

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years of CRO or regulated environment experience in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, contract management principles, and pricing structures.
• Ability to work from home and irregular or extended hours to meet client proposal deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete RFP process, including receipt, analysis, SME coordination, and delivery of comprehensive proposals that align with client specifications and internal standards.
• Develop and prepare strategic proposals and budgets in response to RFPs, incorporating SME feedback and ensuring adherence to company policies and pricing structures.
• Lead contract development and negotiation processes, coordinating across internal departments to prepare, review, and finalize contracts that meet client needs and company standards.
• Establish and maintain account-specific contract standards, including budget presentation formats, payment terms, and contract language, negotiating these with clients as appropriate.
• Identify and mitigate potential RFP and contract barriers to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Manage multiple complex tasks, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.
• Lead client meetings to negotiate costs, terms, and contract details with minimal support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data management; ensure proposals, contracts, and files are kept up-to-date for metrics.
