Job summary

211 Palm Beach Treasure Coast is hiring a Call Center Representative/Resource Center Specialist to provide information, referral, and crisis intervention services across phone, text, and email channels. The role includes assessing needs, suicide risk, and connecting callers with resources, with strict confidentiality and standard adherence.

Initially based in Delray Beach for 12–18 months, the position may transition to a hybrid/remote arrangement after nesting, with flexible shifts across day,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, social work, human services, or a related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess caller needs and provide information and referral services.
• Deliver empathetic, crisis-informed support and de-escalation as needed.
• Assess suicide risk and follow agency protocols.
• Document interactions using approved 211 software.
• Identify need for additional advocacy and referrals.
• Complete follow-up to ensure continuity of care.
