Job summary

211 Palm Beach Treasure Coast is seeking a Call Center Representative/Resource Center Specialist to provide information, assessment, referral, and crisis intervention to callers via phone, text, and email. Training begins Jan 4, 2027, with a nesting phase and a 6–8 week transition period.

The position starts at $18 per hour in Delray Beach, with shift differentials for bilingual candidates and additional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, social work, human services, or related field.
• Familiarity with community resources preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess caller needs and provide information, referral services, crisis intervention, and de-escalation.
• Deliver empathetic, high-quality service using active listening and problem-solving.
• Assess suicide risk and follow agency policies and procedures.
• Document all interactions in approved systems; maintain confidentiality.
