Elevance Health, a leading health company, seeks a Crisis & Referral Specialist in Georgia for telephonic intervention and de-escalation. You will screen, assess, and train callers to determine immediate actions, document interactions, and coordinate services to support member needs.

The role supports a 24/7 call center with in-person training sessions and hybrid/virtual work options. Training is Mon-Fri 10:00am-6:30pm EST.

Formación

Requires a HS diploma or the equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health or a minimum of 6 months of direct crisis experience.
BS/BA degree in a mental health or human services field and two years of direct behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

Takes inbound calls, texts and chats from individuals needing support or in crisis.
Performs safety screenings and risk assessments to determine acuity and safety actions.
Develops action plans with individuals based on assessments and information provided.
Documents interactions accurately and timely per criteria.
Provides follow-up to ensure access to services.
Coordinates with agencies and resources to optimize outcomes.
Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and relevant regulations.
