Camber Connect is seeking an Intake and Care Coordinator to handle high-volume crisis intakes, coordinate placement into beds, and connect individuals with appropriate psychiatric or outpatient services. The role emphasizes compassionate, trauma-informed engagement with children, youth, and adults.

You will work across EHR and cloud tools, collaborating with partners while maintaining professional communication in a fast-paced, digital environment.

Qualifications

• Age requirement: All employees must be at least 20 years old.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Counseling, or Criminal Justice is preferred; a high school diploma with two years crisis experience may qualify.
• Licensure: Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable navigating multiple systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume telephonic intakes and coordinate placement into open beds with precision and urgency.
• Apply trauma-informed care principles to de-escalate callers in crisis, including guardians and referral partners.
• Multitask across multiple digital platforms, including EHR and Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear, professional communication.
• Troubleshoot independently in a remote setting using electronic resources and cloud-based tools.
