The role involves psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, referrals, and linkage to treatment and community resources. The position is designed for independently licensed mental health professionals who can blend assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and client advocacy while working with clients,

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Current independent NM licensure as LPCC/LISW/LCSW/LMFT/LPAT is required.
• At least 3 years in mental health treatment; 1 year in intake/triage is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and mental status examinations.
• Determine medical necessity and appropriate levels of behavioral health care.
• Provide crisis intervention and triage services.
• Coordinate referrals to internal and external behavioral health resources.
• Serve as primary contact for new client inquiries and service requests.
• Complete intake screenings and required documentation.
• Provide active case management and follow-up to connect clients to services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
