Job summary

Families & Youth Innovations Plus seeks an Intake and Assessment Supervisor to lead the department, supervise Intake Specialists and Assessment Therapists, and coordinate with leadership to move participants from first contact through assessment and program assignment.

You will monitor referrals, ensure trauma-informed service delivery, and provide crisis support as needed while maintaining HIPAA compliance and current Streamline EHR data across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years in behavioral health intake, triage, case management, or related direct service.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory, lead, or team-coordination experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Intake Specialists, including case consultation and referral support.
• Manage personnel functions for the Intake team (hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, evaluations).
• Monitor daily referral queues, intake volume, and triage times; fix delays.
• Serve as escalation point for urgent or crisis referrals and provide backup coverage.
• Ensure HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 compliance in documentation.
• Coordinate care with Assessment Therapists and other programs to move referrals efficiently.
