Lines for Life is hiring Remote Crisis Intervention Specialists to join a nationwide, 24/7 crisis response team. You will answer crisis contacts with empathy, document in an EHR, and coordinate follow-up calls while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

The role requires graduates in psychology, social work, or related fields, with strong communication and stress management skills. Remote work is available across the United States; Oregon residents receive a differential.

Competenze

• Strong empathy, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle high levels of stress.
• Proficient in web-based computer environment and multi-line phone system.
• Understanding of and ability to apply mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology.
• Able to implement ISSP and coordinate services.
• Able to independently triage crisis contacts.
• Strong attendance & punctuality.

• Assist with rescue calls when needed during acute crisis contacts.
• Triage crisis contacts and collaborate to manage crisis contact flow and keep lines available.
• Complete mandatory trainings and stay updated on crisis intervention tools and techniques.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors via phone or chat.
• Perform administrative and organizational tasks as needed.
