Lines for Life is hiring a Remote Crisis Intervention Specialist to answer crisis contacts across multiple helplines with care. The role involves extensive crisis training and alignment with suicide prevention best practices.

Work is remote with 24/7 shift coverage and a strong emphasis on accurate documentation and follow-up contacts. Starting wages range by degree: $25/hr with graduate degrees and $23/hr with bachelor’s degrees; Oregon residents receive a 2% differential.

Competenze

• Crisis intervention knowledge and skills required.
• Strong empathy, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high levels of stress.
• Proficient with web-based computer environments and multi-line phone systems.
• Understanding of mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology.
• Ability to implement ISSP and coordinate services and supports.
• Ability to independently triage crisis contacts to keep lines available.
• Strong attendance and punctuality; able to commit to full shifts and provide notice for time off.
• Experience with call centers is a plus.
• ASIST certification is preferred.
• CADC certification strongly preferred
