InformData is seeking a Criminal Field Researcher to research public records and determine whether applicants have criminal or civil records. You will validate identities and support clients in making informed decisions, delivering accurate background checks with reliability and speed.

The role is hybrid with remote work eligibility for Arizona residents, requiring attention to detail, strong communication, and timely reporting to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience researching public records and court indexes.
• Ability to enter results accurately into systems per client instructions.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with court personnel and the public.
• Perform research using public records indexes to retrieve relevant information.
• Enter results into proprietary systems, marking them as clear or recording information found in the court index per instructions.
• Communicate with Supervisor about holidays, closures, or delays to ensure timely updates.
• Provide updates on issues that could affect operations or commitments.
• Notify Supervisor about courthouse changes or fee adjustments.
• Serve as a back-up for other Field Researchers as needed.
• Adhere to Quality and Turnaround Time standards.
