InformData is seeking a Criminal Field Researcher to research public records and determine whether an applicant has criminal or civil history. Your findings help clients validate identities and make informed decisions while upholding safety and trust in communities.

You will build relationships with court personnel, perform records searches, enter results into our systems as clear or with findings, and support teammates to meet quality and turnaround targets.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with court personnel and members of the public.
• Perform research using public records indexes to retrieve relevant information.
• Enter results into proprietary systems, marking them as “clear” or recording information found.
• Proactively communicate with the Supervisor about holidays, closures, or delays.
• Provide timely updates to the Supervisor on issues impacting operations or commitments.
• Serve as back-up for other Field Researchers as needed.
• Adhere to Quality and Turnaround Time (TAT) standards.
• Support ordering and completion of court copy requests.
• Conduct searches in surrounding areas or via online research as assigned.
