Job summary

The Mortgage Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to represent creditors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy matters. You will manage a high-volume caseload, provide strategic legal guidance, and work closely with the Senior Managing Attorney.

This role may be based in Dallas, OKC, Temecula, or fully remote, with a strong emphasis on jurisdictional requirements and client service. Ideal candidates have a Juris Doctor, active bar status, and at least five years of bankruptcy experience,

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one qualifying state (CA, TX, OK, AZ, CO, NM, WA).
• Minimum of five years licensed to practice law in at least one qualifying state.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of creditor bankruptcy matters from referral through resolution.
• Draft, file, and review bankruptcy pleadings and documents.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and court appearances as required.
• Provide legal guidance to clients and firm staff on bankruptcy matters.
• Maintain timely updates in client and firm systems.
