MEDHOST, a division of Harris, is seeking a Credit Balance Specialist to analyze credit balances, determine causes, facilitate account resolution, and post refunds as needed. This remote role welcomes candidates across the US in the Central timezone.

The position offers hourly pay and opportunities to grow within the MEDHOST/QMS framework. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in reimbursement/receivables, strong communication skills, and proficiency with AS400 and Microsoft Office.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of reimbursement and/or accounts receivable experience in a hospital or central billing office setting.
• Knowledge of the full revenue cycle process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AS400 knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Analyze credit balances to determine causes and resolutions.
• Process refunds, payments, and adjustments with accuracy.
• Identify overpayments and request refunds per hospital policy.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve outstanding items and improve workflows.
