Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis Co. is seeking a Credit Analyst II to support Senior Credit Analysts in underwriting large agricultural accounts, financial reporting, and portfolio management from origination through collection. The role partners with cross-functional teams nationwide to assess credit risk and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of credit analysis experience, strong cash flow skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A finance-related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in credit analysis, underwriting, banking, or agricultural lending.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Ability to interpret data and make informed risk decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large agricultural accounts for creditworthiness; typical limits over $500,000.
• Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of customers.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings; perform lien priority analysis.
• Support collections by identifying assets tied to past-due accounts.
• Communicate with Credit Managers and Directors to inform decisions.
