Wilbur-Ellis, a 100-year-old family-owned leader in Ag, seeks a Credit Analyst II to support Senior Analysts in underwriting large agricultural accounts and managing the receivables portfolio from origination through collection.

You will analyze financial statements, trends, and credit data; prepare underwriting recommendations; and collaborate across departments to ensure risk-managed growth. This role emphasizes analytical rigor and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis, underwriting, banking, or agricultural lending experience.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or agriculture-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large agricultural accounts for creditworthiness, often exceeding $500,000 credit limits.
• Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of customers.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings; perform lien priority analysis under UCC rules.
• Support collections by identifying assets tied to past-due accounts.
• Maintain compliance with company documentation procedures and applicable laws.
• Communicate with Credit Managers and Director of Credit and Financing regularly.
• Support portfolio management, financial reporting, data analysis, and accounts receivable from origination through collection.
