Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis in Colorado is seeking a Credit Analyst II to support senior analysts in underwriting large agricultural accounts and managing accounts receivable from origination through collection.

You will analyze financial statements, assess repayment capacity, and provide informed underwriting recommendations while collaborating across functions to strengthen risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis/underwriting experience in finance or agriculture lending.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a finance/accounting/business/agriculture-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large agricultural accounts for creditworthiness and high-credit limits.
• Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of customers.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Draft underwriting recommendations and support risk management.
• Support collections and asset discovery efforts for past-due accounts.
• Collaborate with Credit Managers and Directors on portfolio decisions.
