Optum is seeking a Credentialing Representative - National Remote to enroll behavioral health providers with payers, maintaining practitioner records, and ensuring compliance across credentialing cycles. You will document requirements, verify applications, and coordinate with internal teams to support a smooth credentialing process.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1+ year credentialing/healthcare experience, plus proficiency in MS Excel/Word and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of credentialing and/or healthcare experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify credentialing requirements and document them in practitioner records.
• Initiate credentialing processes and verify applications with supporting documents.
• Perform quality reviews and monitor re-credentialing on a 3-year cycle.
• Act as liaison between practitioner network and internal teams to resolve issues.
