Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage end-to-end credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for behavioral health providers and staff across CHS. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant credentialing files supporting billing and authority delegation.

The role emphasizes cross-state licensure research, PSV, and collaboration with HR, Medical Leadership, and operations to meet onboarding timelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of credentialing, payer enrollment, or related administrative work.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes.
• Ability to research state licensing board requirements across provider types.
• Experience with credentialing software (e.g., Medallion) or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain provider data and CVs in the credentialing system.
• Initiate and track onboarding communications for required documentation.
• Respond to provider inquiries to keep credentialing moving forward.
• Research state licensing, supervision needs, and scope of practice.
• Perform primary source verifications (NPI/NPDB/DEA/OIG/SAM).
• Coordinate with broker for malpractice coverage and upload documents.
• Manage provider enrollment with payers; verify dates and IDs.
• Maintain and re-attest CAQH profiles for accuracy.
