Job summary

Legion Health is seeking a highly organized Credentialing & Payer Contracting Coordinator to move clinicians from onboarding to payer participation and billing readiness in a fully remote role.

You will coordinate credentialing, recredentialing, payer enrollment, and contracting workflows across commercial and government plans; maintain provider profiles; submit applications; and track statuses to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credentialing, payer enrollment, or related healthcare administration experience.
• Experience with provider data, licenses, NPIs, and attestation processes.
• Familiarity with CAQH ProView, NPPES, PECOS, and payer portals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial credentialing, enrollment, and recredentialing for clinicians.
• Collect and organize provider documents (licenses, DEA, CVs, education, work history).
• Maintain provider profiles in CAQH ProView, NPPES, PECOS, Medicaid systems, and payer portals.
• Submit enrollment applications and track status, deadlines, and renewals.
• Follow up with payers via phone, email, portals, and tickets; escalate when needed.
• Support payer contracting lifecycle, including fee-schedule organization and amendments.
• Route terms to internal decision-makers for review and approval.
• Maintain a single source of truth for provider and payer data.
