Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support contracting and credentialing for physicians and health practitioners. This REMOTE role requires meticulous work and strong communication to coordinate with health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of credentialing experience, with Behavioral Health credentials, and the ability to operate across the East Coast and California. Eligible states listed in the job description.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.
• Credentialing experience with Behavioral Health.
• Credentialing experience in all states in the East Coast and California.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with a variety of health plans including Medicare and Medicaid
• Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans
• Work with our physicians to complete required documentation
• Diligently track progress of credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership regularly
• Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met
• Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow
