Job summary

The Mindful Lemon, Inc. is seeking a Credentialing & Contracting Supervisor to own our credentialing operations and lead a small team. You will handle timely, accurate credentialing and recredentialing, manage payer relationships, and shape our processes as we scale.

This hands-on leadership role is fully remote, with opportunities to influence policy, improve efficiency, and drive results in a growing behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare credentialing / provider enrollment experience.
• Prior supervisory, lead, or senior individual-contributor experience in credentialing.
• Strong knowledge of CAQH, payer portals, and multi-state credentialing.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Behavioral health experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Credentialing Specialists, assigning workloads and monitoring performance.
• Oversee new provider credentialing, recredentialing, and CAQH profile management.
• Manage out-of-state and multi-state credentialing compliance.
• Maintain payer relationships and lead contract rate negotiations; resolve credentialing-related issues tied to denied claims.
• Track licenses, certifications, and COIs to ensure nothing lapses.
• Build and refine credentialing SOPs as our team grows.
• Serve as the point person for escalated credentialing or contracting issues.
