Job summary

Meds is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support our medical team across telemedicine and clinical staffing. This fully remote role focuses on credentialing and licensing processes for Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses.

Reporting to the Credentialing Manager, you will maintain provider credentials, perform primary source verifications, obtain licenses, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of credentialing experience.
• Knowledge of credentialing principles, best practices, and medical terminology.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and heavy workload with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes.
• People-oriented and collaborative.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in credentialing communications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain credentialing of providers with state boards.
• Manage credentialing files on the credentialing platform for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform primary source verifications via state and national sources.
• Obtain new and renewed state licenses for providers.
• Participate in the development of internal credentialing processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, regulations, procedures, and policies.
