Job summary

Virtua is seeking a Clinical Coder responsible for abstracting clinical information and assigning CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes to support physicians' fees. This role requires a minimum of two years of coding experience, strong attention to detail, and CPC certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years records coding experience or equivalent.
• Ability to perform tasks at a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of anatomy & physiology / medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Abstract billing for outpatient evaluation and management codes.
• Research simple coding/billing issues for physicians.
• Analyze medical record coding for appropriateness and patterns.
