Job summary

The role includes assessing documentation adequacy to support diagnoses, procedures, complications, and co-morbid conditions, with CPC certification and ICD-10 knowledge required. A hybrid/remote schedule may be available after training; prior coding experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• CPC certification and ICD-10 knowledge required.
• Hybrid/remote schedule possible after training.
• Experience in medical coding preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and outpatient services to ensure timely and accurate coding of unbilled records.
• Assess medical record documentation for adequacy to support diagnoses, procedures, complications, and co-morbid conditions.
• Ensure documentation supports codes assigned and maintain coding accuracy.
