Job summary

externallincarecareers is seeking a virtual education and coaching specialist to educate and coach customers who use CPAP and Bilevel devices. You will provide equipment guidance and support in a timely, professional manner to promote proper use and adherence.

You will train RTs/SETs, coach patients via dialer, identify escalations, ensure quality service, and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain continuity of care and high patient satisfaction for home healthcare in Clearwater, FL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory program required.
• Minimum of one year experience in DME; familiarity with home healthcare equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the training of RTs/SETs.
• Provides coaching to patients via dialer as assigned.
• Identifies escalations of care and makes recommendations as needed.
• Ensures quality service by following departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assists customers through coaching of company products by adequately assessing customer compliance and escalating communication to clinical staff as necessary.
• Ensures continuity of care by maintaining open communication with internal and external team members.
• Provides customer follow up as required.
• Reviews clinical testing/results to ensure appropriate standard of care of PAP device.
