Job summary

First Legal is seeking an Account Executive in San Diego for our Court Reporting division. This full-time, exempt role is remote with 75% client-facing activity and 25% inside sales, focusing on new business development and expanding revenue with current and prospective attorney clients.

You will manage relationships, qualify prospects, conduct attorney continuing legal education, and maintain CRM records while meeting or exceeding sales goals with support from regional managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field and 5+ years of outside sales experience in attorney services or legal environment.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic business development plans to grow revenue.
• Ability to identify decision-makers and secure initial client visits.
• Experience with cross-selling and expanding accounts.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and expand existing attorney and law firm client base for deposition support services.
• Identify viable prospect opportunities from directories, leads, and networking.
• Maintain CRM with accurate account details, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
• Attend industry events to expand product knowledge and networking.
• Meet or exceed sales targets as directed.
