Cognizant is seeking a senior Couchbase DBA to manage and optimize large-scale Couchbase clusters across production and non-production environments. Remote work is offered with a strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and automation.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, deep expertise in cluster management, upgrades, security, monitoring, and architecture, plus close collaboration with cloud and application teams. Salary range applies with Cognizant benefits.

Formación

• 10+ years of Couchbase database administration experience.
• Couchbase cluster management, upgrades, security, monitoring and automation.
• Strong architecture, data modeling, high availability and scalability skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support Couchbase clusters across prod and non-prod environments.
• Design scalable Couchbase architectures, including clustering and capacity planning.
• Perform performance tuning, indexing and N1QL query optimization.
• Handle backup, DR, failover and XDCR operations.
• Plan and execute upgrades with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor health, investigate incidents and perform RCA.
• Implement RBAC, encryption, auditing and security controls.
• Collaborate with apps, infra and cloud teams on migrations and optimization.
