Job summary

Border States is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management efforts for our open market business. The role focuses on maintaining cost competitiveness for key product categories and vendors through cost analysis, SPA rationalization, and tiered SPA strategies.

Responsibilities include analyzing cost structures, engaging stakeholders, negotiating with vendors, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and profit improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience in procurement, pricing, costing, or supply chain preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and forecasting is preferred.
• APICS certification or knowledge of MRP is preferred.
• Strong Excel and SAP skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cost competitiveness across product categories and vendors.
• Support SPA rationalization and tiered SPA strategies.
• Identify cost savings and profit improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors based on evaluations.
• Present findings to branch and company stakeholders.
