Border States is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management initiatives for our open market business. The role focuses on cost competitiveness for key product categories, SPA rationalization, and tiered SPA strategies to identify savings and drive profit improvements.

Location includes Fargo, ND with remote work options. Salary ranges from $64,300 to $80,000, with pay determined by skills, qualifications, and location.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in procurement, pricing, costing, or supply chain is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM system and forecasting is preferred.
• APICS knowledge or MRP understanding is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews cost competitiveness across product categories to ensure market relevance.
• Engages branch and regional staff for category evaluations and cost analysis.
• Evaluates market conditions and supplier alignment for cost optimization.
• Analyzes cost structures including SPAs and regional/backside programs.
• Negotiates pricing with vendors based on evaluation findings.
• Identifies cost savings opportunities using analytics and market intelligence.
• Documents cost savings and presents findings to stakeholders.
