Job summary

Border States in Fargo, ND is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management strategies for our open market business. You will analyze cost structures and SPAs to improve competitiveness and margins.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable cost-saving opportunities. Remote work is available with occasional travel to branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in procurement, pricing, costing or supply chain preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP materials management and forecasting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews cost competitiveness across product categories and regions.
• Analyzes market conditions, vendor alignment and strategies.
• Supports SPA rationalization and pricing optimization initiatives.
• Collaborates with branches and stakeholders to implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Documents cost savings and reports findings to management.
