Job summary

Amex GBT seeks a Travel Consultant to advise and arrange corporate travel for individuals and groups. You will research options, anticipate traveler needs, and book domestic and international trips across air, rail, and lodging.

You’ll use Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus to optimize itineraries and ensure policy compliance. You will collaborate with teammates to share knowledge, maintain high service standards, and respond effectively to special requests.

Qualifications

• Exceptional client service with proactive anticipation of traveler needs.
• Native GDS experience with Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus or Galileo.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Integrity and responsible handling of traveler information.
• Solid understanding of corporate and leisure travel dynamics.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly with suppliers.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers.
• Research travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Arrange domestic and international business travel in various complexities for air, rail, and accommodations.
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) including Sabre, Apollo, Galileo and Amadeus.
• Ensure compliance with travel policy, provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide courteous service and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate within the team to coach, mentor, and give constructive feedback.
