Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Specialized Travel Consultant to book travel for top corporate clients. You’ll work from home in a high-touch service role, collaborating with teammates to craft timely travel solutions and outstanding service.

Responsibilities include advising on travel for individuals and groups, booking domestic and international itineraries across air, car, rail, and hotels, and using GDS systems such as Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, or Galileo.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate travel and fares/ticketing rules for air, car, and hotel.
• Proven client-service excellence with proactive travel advice.
• Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and/or Galileo).
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and data privacy awareness.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations
• Use GDSs including Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and/or Galileo; training may be provided
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, chat, e-mail, and back-office systems
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing travel expertise and selling additional services
• Work individually and with the team to meet business and account-specific goals and service metrics
