Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling employment law and wage-and-hour matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment regulations, compliance frameworks, litigation processes, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on employment-related matters, including wage and hour compliance, employee classification, accommodations, and investigations.
• Draft, review, and advise on employment policies, HR procedures, and internal guidelines.
• Manage and support the defense of lawsuits, claims, and administrative charges.
• Monitor changes in employment law and proactively advise departments on compliance strategies.
