Job summary

Coretelligent, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee daily accounting operations, month-end close, and a robust system of internal controls to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This role supports a remote U.S. team and reports to the CFO.

You will lead a team of 7, manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, and drive policy improvements while ensuring accurate, timely financial statements and strong risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or similar certification required.
• Experience as a Controller in a corporate setting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial close processes.
• Experience with exit transactions and acquisitions a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Intacct a plus).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Own the monthly close process, including reconciliations and schedules.
• Oversee reconciliations to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting and tax filings.
• Lead external audit and related deliverables.
• Manage AP, AR, and payroll functions.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over accounting procedures.
• Mentor and support a team of 7.
